Project will turn abandoned railroad into trail that connects coast to Portland suburbs

BANKS, OR (KPTV) – An abandoned railroad could soon become a hiking trail that connects the coast to the suburbs of Portland. The Salmonberry Trail doesn’t exist yet, but it just got one step closer to becoming a reality.
