Oregon Solutions is working with the City of Rainier to support funding to upgrade the city’s culvert. This culvert runs underneath highway 30 and allows Fox Creek to run into the Columbia. It is severely dilapidated and causes frequent flooding during the year, posing challenges for nearby businesses, highway 30 traffic, and the community. It also impedes fish passage for Endangered Species Act (ESA) listed salmon.
