Following a progressive increase in elk population and habitation patterns in the northeast portion of Clatsop County, the local jurisdictions requested that Oregon Solutions conduct a collaborative process to identify possible solutions to reduce the hazards to people, pets, and property. The growing number of elk pose documented safety risks in residential areas and on roadways.
